Category & mode of action:
Post-emergence systemic selective herbicide of the phenoxyalkanoate group for the control of broadleaf herbs . It is absorbed by the leaves of the herbs, moves systematically into the plant tissues through a symplast and apoplast and concentrates in the young meristematic tissues where it reverses the normal rate of cell growth. It causes epinasty and asymmetric growth of plants with characteristic twisting and deformation of young leaves and shoots.
