Category & mode of action:
Selective herbicide to control broadleaf and grass herbs during their germination, in various crops. It is also applied as an anti-fyllizic tobacco. At the biochemical level it affects the function of mitosis by inhibiting the formation of the microtubules of the mitotic spindle. It acts by contact and inhibits the development of axillary buds - fyllizia , which follows the topping of the American tobacco Burley and Virginia.
