Category & mode of action:

Systemic herbicide for the control of annual and perennial (grass and broadleaf) weeds. Combination of a non-selective herbicide (glyphosate) and a hormone (MCPA). Glyphosate is absorbed by the leaves and tender shoots of weeds and inhibits the EPSPS enzyme by inhibiting the biosynthesis of aromatic amino acids. MCPA is absorbed by the leaves and roots of broadleaf weeds and travels through symplast and apoplast and accumulates in young meristematic tissues, inhibiting weed growth. Symptoms appear 2-4 days after spraying.
